Mary-Beth Western Memorial Healthcare Scholarship

The MARY-BETH WESTERN MEMORIAL HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIP was created for those wanting to obtain education to begin or further a career in healthcare.  This is one of three educational scholarships that Prescott Firefighter's Charities is proud to sponsor.  Application is open to all Yavapai County residents, as well as Yavapai County public safety agency employees who are not residents, and their immediate families.  More information and application link can be found below.

Mary-Beth Western was originally from Indiana, but eventually found her way to Prescott, AZ, where she became a radiology tech at YRMC in 2009. 

Mary-Beth was involved in a tragic accident on her way to work in early 2022 and fought bravely and diligently to recover from her significant injuries. She passed away due to all the complications in late 2022.

Mary-Beth was described by her friends as:

“One of the best people on this planet, always happy, always smiling, and always willing to help.”
